Ideal Luxury is pleased to offer this vintage all factory 1960 Rolex “Pepsi” GMT Master sport watch model reference 1675. We purchased the watch only from its second owner, who recalled being told by the original owner that it had been sent back to Rolex over the years for both service and repair. This would be evident considering the nicely aged original Rolex dial and 24 hour hand which would be correct for a later serial number GMT Master. Please note the original Rolex oyster bracelet and end pieces are correct for a Submariner 16800 and not the GMT Master. While this watch would appropriately be deemed a “Frankenstein” GMT 1675, we believe these substitutions were routinely completed decades ago by Rolex when these watches were not considered collectables. Either way, it is certainly an affordable “all Rolex” Pepsi GMT 1675 that can be worn as is, or carefully restored to its correct provenance over time. This watch is being offered without a mechanical warranty, “as is where is” in its original untouched and unpolished condition and has been certified by our master watchmaker.
