Lady Gaga has made her grand arrival at the 2019 Oscars! The singer-turned-movie star, who is nominated for her role in A Star Is Born, wore a statement-making black gown by Alexander McQueen on the red carpet.

Gaga wore a history-making piece of jewelry tonight as well: the actress and singer is sporting the legendary Tiffany Diamond, one of the most recognizable yellow diamonds in the world. The 128.54-carat stone was first acquired by Charles Lewis Ti­ffany in 1878, a year after it was discovered in South Africa. Tonight marks one of the diamond’s most noteworthy appearances; previously, it was also on display as a necklace in Breakfast at Ti­ffany’s publicity photos. Gaga paired the historic stone with yellow and white diamond earrings from the 2019 Extraordinary Tiffany Collection.

Gaga never fails to impress on the red carpet. At the Golden Globes last month, Gaga stunned in an elegant blue Valentino Couture gown with a glittering diamond necklace.
